The Waters Speak - Storytelling, Purification, and Blessings with the Teyuna Nations (In-Person & Zoom)

  • Golden Drum 97 Green St. G1 Brooklyn, NY, 11222 Unites States of America (map)

THE EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT FOR IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE. WE WILL INFORM YOU AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IF SPACES OPEN UP. YOU MAY STILL JOIN US VIA ZOOM.

Several years ago, the Golden Drum was honored by a visit from a group of very special Priests and Priestesses called Mamos and Zagas.

As the spiritual guides of their nations, comprised of Kogi, Wiwa, Arhuaco, and Kankuamo, they are born into thousands of years old lineages and serve as mediators between the cosmos and the Earth. Carefully listening, diving, and praying to bring humanity and the earth into balance with the higher world. This is done primarily through their sacred ceremony, the PAGAMENTO.

Now, they return to the Golden Drum for a very special two night event called The Waters Speak. The first night will be a transmission and storytelling with the messages received from the sacred lake about the state of the earth and people, the second night, a purification ceremony with pagamento, healing and blessing.

The funds raised will help them finish a project that will abate water from the Jemez river from flooding their land.

Please join us and help spread the word by sharing with your friends who love the oceans, lakes, rivers and streams of the world. This is not to be missed!

The event will be from 7pm - 10pm on Tuesday and 7pm - 10pm on Wednesday, you may sign up for both days or just one.
