This was an experiential class - a journey through the acoustical universe of ancestrial Peru.  We explored uses of instruments and their application to heal body, mind, and spirit.  Working with a variety of instruments such as whistling vessels, zamponas, bamboo flutes, pututus (conch shell), ceramic antaras, feathers, seeds, bells, and drums and we discovered their uses in healing and connection to the spirit.  We also explored how to use these instruments in ceremonies and rituals.
