Rainer's brilliant and artistic arrangements, harmonies and melodies go straight to the heart. The guitar is transformed into a channel for his unique, playful world music, which reflects the mystery of life and the world of nature transmitting healing and love.

Rainer studied classical guitar, chamber music and performing arts at the Hochschule Für Musik and Theater of Hannover. He has played as a soloist and in various ensembles as a classical guitarist in Europe, Israel, Brazil, Mexico, Columbia and USA. 

His musical journeys brought him into contact with with healers and shamans from different cultures, and these encounters changed his life and influenced his unique style of music as a gateway to healing and spiritual growth.

His music is influenced by classical, Celtic folk, Indian and various styles of Brazilian music. He has recorded with Deva Premal, Carioca, Darpan and Kailash Kokopelli’.
