To find our voice through song and prayer can be healing and transformative for ourselves, for others and for the entire world, as it is an act of courage and vulnerability that speaks to the spirit on many levels. People often compare their voice to that of pop musicians but what makes the voice transcend entertainment and create healing is connecting to our raw, unique, and authentic vibration. In this workshop we will guide participants on how to use the medicine of their voice through singing, chanting, mantra, healing songs, toning, overtone vocalizations, with and without instrumental accompaniment.

In addition this workshop will cover:

• Voice techniques, warm-ups, exercises,

• How to control volume, projection and resonance

• Vocal Health (teas, what to avoid, etc.)

• Working with the throat chakra to find your authentic voice
