From the Shaman's Toolbox: Practical Tips for Self-Care and Protection (In-Person or Video Broadcast)

  • Golden Drum 97 Green St. G1 Brooklyn, NY, 11222 Unites States of America (map)

In this workshop, Maestro Ricardo Tsakimp, Uwishin (shaman) of the Shuar peoples in the Ecuadoran Amazon, comes back to Golden Drum to share with us specific techniques and healing methods that we can use for our own self-care, protection, and cleansing. Drawing on millennial traditional knowledge as well as his decades of experience working with plants, ancestral practices, and rituals, Maestro Ricardo will share how to use plants to purify our energy fields, protect ourselves when out and about or working with others, and what foods and plants to combine to address viral or bacterial incursions.

This is a practical, hands-on workshop that will give participants a solid foundation in plant and nutritional allies to use for self-care, protection and purification.

Maestro Ricardo has suggested that each attendee bring a pen and paper to record the recipes he will be sharing.

Donation: $25; no one turned away for lack of funds. You may join in-person or via a live broadcast.
