We are daughters of the earth, daughters of the sun and moon and the stars. We come together as women to celebrate the divine feminine and the spirit of cacao on this day of 11 Ix, day of the Jaguar spirit. Cacao has been used by the Mayan culture for thousands of years to gather in the spirit of community, in the spirit of family, to celebrate birth, life and death, and to exhalt the spirit.
Let us join our hearts and minds together to bring peace, harmony, and joy to our sisterhood and uplift the women of the world.
Preparation for a Cacao Ceremony:
Cacao contains caffeine, so please do NOT DRINK COFFEE or any other stimulants at least 3 hours before the ceremony. Please also refrain from using drugs or alcohol. We recommend that you do not eat for at least three hours prior to the ceremony. Dress in comfortable loose clothing.
Please drink plenty of water both before and after the ceremony to stay hydrated.
