Shamanic Reiki is a very gentle and intuitive way to meet your inner healer.
In this workshop you will receive an introduction into shamanic healing and Reiki, and how to connect with the universal life force energy that allows healing to happen. You will receive your Reiki 1 Attunement and be guided into foundational shamanic knowledge for self healing.
Reiki induces deep relaxation, activates the parasympathetic nervous system, and helps the body and mind release tension, stress, and anxiety. Deep healing occurs once consciousness is brought about through deep relaxation, meditation, and self-awareness. No healing is more profound than the one you can give to yourself.

Shamanic Reiki is a practice that combines the wisdom of the shamanic traditions with the techniques of Reiki. It is a beautiful way to awaken and develop your healing abilities, come into a lucid sense of intimacy with yourself, and remember your divine presence. Even if you have already received your Reiki 1 attunement elsewhere, this training is rich with wisdom from traditional healing systems that will support the practitioner with a broader, richer, and stronger framework since it focuses on building our relationship to the energy of healing within a shamanic framework.
Brooke and Nicole are all students of Maestro Manuel Rufino, elder and guide of the Golden Drum community where they have been studying shamanic healing practices. We are very grateful to be integrating some of the teachings passed to us to create a well-rounded Reiki Healing Course.
In Shamanic Reiki Level I you will learn:
The history & the 5 Principles of Reiki
How to treat yourself with Reiki
How to identify and remove energy blocks
Energetic hygiene and self careHow to approach self-healing with a focus on the seven main chakras
Introduction to the 4-elements and the Medicine Wheel
How to build and activate an altar for healing
How to begin to work with sacred herbs for smudging
Upon completion of the course you will receive a Shamanic Reiki Level 1 Attunement and Certificate from the Usui System of Natural Healing.
Tea and fruit will be provided.
We will have a 45 minute break for lunch.
Please bring a candle, your notebook, and writing utensils as well as any offerings or items to charge on the Altar through our training. Please dress comfortably for your attunements on Friday night and wear all white for our group photo at the end of our Saturday session.
Brooke Hamre Gillespie is a student of Maestro Manuel Rufino, a disciple in the Universal Initiatic Tradition and an active member of the Golden Drum community. With over 18 years of study and practice in the transcendental healing arts, she is in service to the cultivation of consciousness, peace and harmony in the world through learning, honoring and sharing the teachings of the sacred traditions of humanity and the Aquarian Age in the fields of education, healing, sound, ecology, health, wellness, yoga and art. She is a founding member of the Dream Seed sound healing collective, founder of New Sun Living, life-long songwriter, musician and sound alchemist, pleiadian lightworker, yogi, minister and officiant, and life-coach. Brooke is available for private, group and corporate sessions, trainings, and retreats. She and her husband are the parents of 2 beautiful boys and live in the mountains of upstate New York.
Nicole Adriana Casanova is a student of Maestro Manuel Rufino and intertribal teachings. She is a disciple of the Universal Initiatic Tradition, and a servant of humanity, the earth and Great Spirit. With decades of study and training, Nicole bridges practices from various wisdom traditions with intuitive knowledge and practical know-how to create unique experiences of self discovery, healing, and transformation. Nicole is an ordained minister and officiant, poet, storyteller, song keeper, writer, artist, guide and ecologist offering one-on-one, corporate, and group sessions, trainings and retreats all over the world.
