Saturday, October 21st and Sunday, October 22nd, 11:30 am - 5:30 pm on both days*
“Suddenly, all of my ancestors are behind me. Be still they say. Watch and listen, you are the result of the love of thousands.” -Linda Hogan / Chickasaw Indian Poet
There is a story behind the story of each of our lives. In this workshop, artist, filmmaker, & professional facilitator Jadina Lilien will direct us on a Me-connected-to-We approach to creativity and change.
Some of our greatest difficulties (addictions, depression, anger, etc.) are unconsciously part of our hidden love/loyalty to someone in our lives & families, going back even hundreds of years. Through this careful & nonjudgmental work, we can gently pull these dynamics out of the shadow and into awareness.
The work is done in a group setting, in a space that is both sacred and timeless. Open to artists, psychology & counseling professionals, as well as the general public. Pre-registration is requested by Wednesday, October 18th.
For questions, please email JadinaLilien@gmail.com.
“It is part of a family tree. We are continuously living the ancestral life, reaching back for centuries; we are satisfying the appetites of unknown ancestors, nursing instincts which we think are our own, but which are quite incompatible with our character, we are not living our own lives, we are paying the debts of our forefathers.” - Carl Jung
*You may attend for a single day or for both days.
Fees: $125.00 for a single day, $240.00 for both days (if registering in advance).
The first 5 people to sign up will receive a 7" x 7" signed print of one of Jadina's Sacred Constellation cards (description below*).
*Sacred Constellations Cards are based on the vision of the Family/Systemic approach to looking at life. Each of the 60 cards is created by artist Jadina Lilien with a word on the back connected to the constellation process that includes all of life as sacred. Each card can be used as a tool to focus your thoughts and feelings finding out more about your relationship to your ancestors, family, and other qualities that effect your presence now, connecting to the root of the root of the original design.
