Cultures through out history have recognized the solstices as sacred times, but why? They are times when the dimensions approach each other and doors open between them. It is not simply a time to observe celestial mechanics. It is necessary to become sensitive to the intimate relationships between the sun and the Earth. The approach occurs and the doors open to paths of communication that we may use for healing and spiritual illumination.
