Golden Drum is happy to host a music session for young people ages 1-5. Join us for a 1 hour journey through music for children and their adult companions. Music is great for cognitive development, creativity, and always enhances the learning process. Music is a universal language and helps contribute to understanding and bridging cultures throughout the world. Sharing songs is also a way that valuable lessons are passed from one generation to the next. We will sing songs from different traditions and cultures including Native American, African, Hebrew, children’s songs and more.

This program is hosted by Michael Chocolate and Brooke Hamre Gillespie, accompanied by guest musicians from Golden Drum. Michael has spent the last 5 yrs in New York public schools teaching/sharing music with children and also has experience playing music with preschool children and special needs children. Brooke is a musician, composer, and sound healer whose mission is to inspire and teach children through sharing her gift of music.
 

Cost: $10 per class
