Ecstatic Dance NYC gathers for a transformative, electronic music journey, mixed with intention. Move however you wish, in a container for conscious dance and freeform movement. No booze, no shoes and no chit-chat on the dance floor helps us keep it intentional. Amazing music helps us keep it all about dance!

DJ Chela
A modern day alchemist, DJ Chela mixes movements, communities and evolutionary patterns together like records. From a prolific DJ career traveling the world and working with luminaries, to dedicated spiritual and healing studies, to a breadth of artistic projects, Chela weaves together lineages of expression to inspire her audiences and engage their spirits. Chela, a Sanskrit word meaning the "disciple of a guru", sees her work as an opportunity to surrender to Spirit and be a creative vessel for transformation and healing. She is also a singer/songwriter, Tom Kenyon-trained Sound Healer, Reiki Master Teacher, doula and Brennan Healing Science Practitioner. She brings all of this to the (turn)table--every show, every venue.

DJ Dhundee
As a world-celebrated DJ and producer, Dhundee showcases an emotional arc of electronic sounds and genres that lifts listeners high and brings them smoothly back to earth. Dhundee has spun many parties and events with one foot in the night life and the other spinning festivals, non profits and health and wellness events... You may have heard his name from Winkel And Baltic parties, The Danger, Get Your Dance On, Turntables On The Hudson, The Junxion, and many others...
Dhundee is the original DJ of "Get Your Dance on where he performed at Yogaworks from NYC to LA.  He also is a director of www.beatnyc.org a non profit organization where he teaches at risk youth how to produce music. He has taught workshops in Singapore, Berlin and throughout NYC.
On top of DJing and teaching, Dhundee has a music production company "Sugarcuts Inc" where he has scored many commercials and short films.
Dhundee is the DJ / music programmer behind Signature Theatre and Mark Morris Dance Center. You can also find him spinning at the rollerskating rink Lefrak Lakeside at Prospect Park during the summer.
